Nelson Hysa vs. Thomas Narmo is a heavyweight boxing match taking place today, August 29, 2026, at the O2 Arena in London. The 10-round battle is featured on the main card undercard of the Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic IBF heavyweight world title event.
This clash pits two undefeated, hard-hitting heavyweights against each other, with Hysa's WBO Global Heavyweight title on the line:
The Stakes: Between them, the two fighters possess a combined record of 38-0 with 36 knockouts. Because both fighters are high-percentage knockout artists, boxing analysts widely expect this match to end inside the distance rather than going to the judges' scorecards.
Hysa (24-0, 22 KOs) and Narmo (14-0, 14 KOs) will meet on the undercard of Moses Itauma vs. Filip Hrgovic, giving the show another heavyweight bout in which an undefeated record will disappear unless the fight ends in a draw.
Between them, Hysa and Narmo bring a combined professional record of 38-0 with 36 knockouts.
The WBO Global heavyweight title is currently listed as being at stake.
Hysa Returns After Long Layoff
For Hysa, the fight marks his first appearance since October 2025, when he stopped previously unbeaten Croatian Abel Pesut after three rounds in Tirana, Albania.
Pesut entered that contest with a perfect record and had stopped every opponent he had faced, but Hysa controlled the fight before Pesut failed to answer the bell for the fourth round.
The victory moved the Albanian heavyweight to 24-0 and added the WBO Global and WBA Gold titles to his résumé.
Hysa had previously stopped Germany's Patrick Korte in two rounds in June 2025 and Edwin Castillo in three rounds two months earlier.
At 41, however, Hysa is in an unusual position for an undefeated heavyweight contender. His record and sanctioning-body standing have pushed him toward the upper end of the division, but he has yet to record the type of victory that would establish him among the heavyweight elite.
